ATHF Device
This is one of the few known photos of what might be one of the most dangerous devices known to man. Called the "ATHF Device" or by the nickname "Beantown Bunker Buster" by intelligence agencies around the world, it's more commonly known as "that suspicious looking thing." Because of the extreme lethality of these devices, the only logical course of action upon finding one is to evacuate everyone within 185 miles and then send in remote controlled robots to "disable" the device. A word of extreme caution, that character does appear to be giving you "the finger."

And I guess the company that manufactures Lite Brite is a fellow traveler.

Have you gone mad?!
It's not even safe to _look_ at that thing!
(Seriously, CafePress and Zazzle have all been pulling anything even remotely resembling this image from their website. Apparently, it's even more dangerous than listening to an iPod while walking in NYC.)

Some might say the Earth is our Moon,
but that would belittle the name of our Moon.
Which is, The Moon.

On the moon hoax devices are the birds.

Could someone post a link to schematics to build the circuit (Was it blinking, or just static LEDs? - if static, nevermind but if blinking I could use some details on creating the alternating light patterns)
Thanks

Whats even better is the "Anti-Press" These things have gotten. Originally posted in around 10-12 cities, they are now seen all over the U.S. due to the "Bomb Scares" Turner Broadcasting definitely got more advertising than they paid for(in a good way) and more people will go see the movie(i know i will)

Darul is right. Every time someone gives me the finger in traffic, I call the bomb squad because they might be a terrorist.

Thank you Polly Anna. Sure the middle finger is threatening, especially when wielded by a glowing cartoon character. THE HORROR! Next time I see a shirt with a cartoon flippin the bird on it I'll duck and cover. Heaven ta Betsy if it should stick out a tongue, that’s a sure sign of a bomb. Look I got rid of cable like three years ago and I still know what ATHF is and that this little guy is a bad guy on it. Yup bad guys give the finger welcome to the world hippies. Oh wait hippies give the finger too. That said the whole thing is ridiculous. There was no Hoax, no called in threat, just a bunch of out of touch old people who overreacted got embarrassed and instead of accepting responsibility, learning from it, and moving on, decided to start pointing fingers and were soon joined by the media leaches of our age. Those who will comment on anything if it means getting their faces on TV. Screw the facts. You know these people, power suit women past their prime with so much plastic surgery the only emotion they can show is outrage, the cocky uneducated young guy who's so happy to be on camera in his suit n spiky hair that he'll read any half baked thing the forty ta sixty something, white, never worked a minimum wage job in his whole life, conservative guy on the next screen tells him to. The whole thing is a ludicrous circus. Dance monkeys dance, but the down side is that these people, these stupid vapid, nothing better to do people might actually succeed in destroying the lives of the poor creative innocent guys who've been arrested for putting essentially glowing art up around a city. Is this the freedom we’re fighting for? Is this how we don’t let the terrorists win?

MOON RULEZZ

What people don't seem to get is that flipping the bird is an insult and all insults are violent threats. When you give the finger to some guy who cut you off, you not only threaten him but you demean yourself as a human being. Where force outside of self defense reigns, civilization dies. The only moral method of human interaction is through honest fair trade. Those devices, no matter how innocuous the LEDs and circuit boards or how cartoonish the design, were threatening because of the use of that gesture.

I think it is Menino, not Merino.

This is one sinister device. I saw this one in Boston the other day, I called 911 right away cause I knew from the look of it it was one of those LED Circuitboard Nukes (LCN). It looked at me with those blinking eyes and it gave me the finger...
After the call I got in the car and drove al far away as possible, I saw what hapen on Jericho..
